Henry’s work is characterised by his creative approach to all projects. His ideas are boundless yet they are acutely linked to the requirements of a client and their site. Leading the design across all projects at GSBN, Henry is dedicated to creating buildings and places that enrich lives and enhance the public domain.
With experience at a local practice infamous for their role in the conservation of cultural heritage and the sustainment of our environment, Henry is attune to the importance of holistic thinking and collaboration with experts, to overcome the challenges we face as creators of our built environment.

Robert Scarfone

Technical Director

Obsessed with alignment, order and process, Rob is a natural leader in technical communication and systems management. Robert’s career began in 2011 supporting a sole practitioner in Sydney across all project phases. Through this experience, Rob developed an extensive understanding of authority processes, development controls and building regulations, as well as refining his skills in the technical production and co-ordination of detailed and accurate documentation.
Rob brings over a decade of practical experience to GSBN and now oversees the documentation of all projects. His focus is on creating and applying new processes across all project scales and typologies to ensure GSBN’s ongoing agility and, crucially, quality architectural outcomes.

Alessandro Belgiorno-Nettis

Studio Director

Prior to founding GSBN with Robert and Henry, Alessandro worked on various large scale projects across the public sector in teams ranging in size from 2 to 10+. This exposed him to the nuances of project coordination, client management and staff collaboration at all skill levels. Working on the state significant masterplans and public precincts, Alessandro became wise to the complexities of project management and the importance of engaging a client in the intricacies of their development.
At GSBN Alessandro’s aim is to help facilitate clear communication between directors, staff, consultants and clients across all components of a project from design iterations to fees and agreements. With an annoying level of attention to detail, Alessandro ensure’s both the macro and micro operations at the studio are of the highest possible standard.

Stephanie Cheng

Graduate of Architecture

After several years working at a local practice in Sydney, Stephanie came to GSBN looking for more autonomy on projects and a desire to be challenged by new ways of thinking. Entrusting Stephanie with various design and coordination tasks across a range of projects she has showcased a drive to deliver her best work and desire to learn on every job.

With a keen interest in efficiencies, Stephanie looks to achieve more with less, both architectonically and organisationally across her practice. Studying at Sydney University, Stephanie graduated with a Master of Architecture in 2022 and is currently working towards her registration.
